Peer-to-Peer Learning Program – Unleash the Web with MERN Stack

The Peer-to-Peer Learning Program session titled “Unleash the Web with MERN Stack” was a comprehensive technical learning initiative organized by the Computer Club to help students explore modern full-stack web development and gain practical exposure to one of the most widely used technology stacks in the industry.

The session focused on the MERN stack, comprising MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, and introduced participants to the complete web development lifecycle—from building interactive frontend interfaces to developing backend services and connecting applications with databases.

Led by Mr. Kshitij Raj, the session followed a practical and peer-to-peer learning approach. Participants gained insights into how real-world web applications are designed and developed using MERN technologies. The program emphasized end-to-end development and demonstrated how different technologies within the stack work together to create functional and scalable web applications.

A key highlight of the session was live coding and project-based learning. Participants had the opportunity to observe the development of a mini-project and understand the practical implementation of concepts covered during the session. This approach helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application development while giving students a foundation to begin building their own projects.

The session also highlighted the career opportunities associated with full-stack development. Participants received guidance on how MERN skills can support career paths in software development, freelancing, internships, and entry-level technology roles. The discussion encouraged students to strengthen their portfolios through practical projects and develop industry-relevant development skills.

Organized vibrantly by the Computer Club, the initiative reflected the club’s commitment to promoting practical, peer-driven technical education. Through hands-on learning, live projects, and career-focused guidance, the Computer Club continues to empower students to explore modern technologies, build meaningful projects, and prepare themselves for opportunities in the software development industry.
