Saturday Sparks
Saturday Sparks – Building Confidence, Mastering Skills
Saturday Sparks was a dedicated skill-development initiative presented by the Computer Club to help students strengthen essential soft skills, improve their confidence, and prepare more effectively for interviews and professional opportunities.
Designed as a recurring learning platform, the initiative focused on the development of practical skills that are often essential for career success but may receive limited attention in conventional academic learning. The sessions aimed to help students improve their communication, interpersonal skills, confidence, goal-setting abilities, and overall professional personality.
The program featured Mr. Rajesh Pandey, Assistant Professor and Faculty In-charge of the Computer Club, as the resource person. Through interactive discussions, practical guidance, and engaging activities, participants were encouraged to identify areas for improvement and develop a more confident approach toward academic, professional, and personal challenges.
A major focus of Saturday Sparks was interview preparation. Students were guided on how to communicate effectively, present themselves with confidence, respond to interview questions, and develop the professional skills required to perform well in placement and career opportunities.
The initiative created a supportive environment where students could learn, interact, practice, and gradually build confidence through continuous participation. Rather than treating soft skills as a one-time activity, Saturday Sparks promoted consistent improvement and encouraged students to make personal development a regular part of their growth journey.
Organized vibrantly by the Computer Club, Saturday Sparks reflected the club’s commitment to holistic student development. By combining technical learning with communication, confidence-building, and career preparation, the Computer Club continues to create opportunities that help students become more capable, confident, and industry-ready.
