Peer-to-Peer Learning Session – “Learn, Code, Share: Python”
Peer-to-Peer Learning Session – “Learn, Code, Share: Python”
The Computer Club of Shobhit University organized a Peer-to-Peer Learning (P2P) session titled “Learn, Code, Share: Python”, with the objective of creating a practical and collaborative learning environment where students could explore Python programming beyond the boundaries of their regular curriculum. The session focused on helping beginners develop a strong foundation in Python while also demonstrating how the language can be applied to real-world technologies and career opportunities.
The session began with an introduction to the fundamentals of Python programming, covering essential concepts such as variables, data types, operators, loops, functions, and logical thinking. The concepts were explained in a beginner-friendly and practical manner, enabling participants to understand not only the syntax of Python but also the logic behind writing structured and efficient programs.
A major highlight of the session was the hands-on live coding component. Participants were introduced to practical programming through the development of a mini-project, allowing them to observe how individual programming concepts can be combined to create a functional application. This approach encouraged students to actively participate, experiment with code, identify errors, and understand the importance of writing clean, structured, and readable programs.
The session also went beyond basic programming and introduced students to the wide range of applications of Python. Participants learned how Python is extensively used in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Web Development, and Automation. The discussion helped students understand the versatility of Python and how learning the language can serve as a foundation for exploring several emerging areas of technology.
