Peer-to-Peer Learning Session – “Exploring Generative AI: LLMs, Prompt Engineering & AI Applications”

The Computer Club of Shobhit University organized a Peer-to-Peer Learning (P2P) session titled “Exploring Generative AI: LLMs, Prompt Engineering & AI Applications”, aimed at introducing students to the rapidly evolving field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) and its applications in modern technology and software development.

The session provided students with a structured introduction to the fundamentals of Generative AI, explaining how modern artificial intelligence systems can generate human-like text, images, code, and other forms of content. Participants gained an understanding of key concepts behind Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), and generative models, helping them develop a strong foundation in this emerging technology.

A major component of the session was Prompt Engineering, where students learned how to design effective prompts to obtain accurate, relevant, and useful outputs from AI systems. Through practical examples and interactive demonstrations, participants explored techniques for communicating effectively with AI models and using Generative AI tools for learning, research, programming, content creation, and problem-solving.

The session also explored the growing applications of Generative AI in education, software development, business, automation, content creation, and productivity. Students were introduced to real-world use cases and gained insights into how AI-powered tools and Large Language Models are transforming the way individuals and organizations approach complex tasks.

The session was conducted by Harsh Bhatnagar, who guided students through the fundamentals, practical applications, and emerging possibilities of Generative AI. His interactive approach encouraged participants to experiment with AI tools, ask questions, and understand how Generative AI can be effectively integrated into academic and professional workflows.

The peer-to-peer learning format created an engaging and collaborative environment where students could explore Generative AI, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, and AI-powered applications beyond conventional classroom learning. The hands-on nature of the session enabled participants to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications and develop a better understanding of the rapidly changing AI ecosystem.

Through this initiative, the Computer Club of Shobhit University continued its efforts to promote skill-oriented, peer-driven, and technology-focused learning, empowering students to explore emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Artificial Intelligence and prepare themselves for future opportunities in the evolving digital and AI-driven industry.
