Azure 101: Harnessing Innovation – Azure Fundamentals & Azure VM

Azure 101: Harnessing Innovation – Azure Fundamentals & Azure VM was an informative and hands-on technical session organized by the Computer Club to introduce students to the fundamentals of Microsoft Azure and the growing role of cloud computing in modern technology.

The session was conducted on 24 August 2024 at the University Auditorium and featured Madhur Agrawal, Analyst at Deloitte India, Co-Organizer of TFUG Ghaziabad, and Azure Developer Lead, as the speaker. With his industry experience and expertise in Azure technologies, he provided students with practical insights into cloud computing and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

The session covered the fundamental concepts of Microsoft Azure, helping participants understand cloud services, Azure infrastructure, and the practical applications of cloud computing. A key focus of the workshop was Azure Virtual Machines (Azure VM), giving students an understanding of how virtualized computing resources can be created, configured, and utilized through the cloud.

The event provided students with an opportunity to connect theoretical concepts with real-world cloud applications while gaining valuable insights into the skills required for working with modern cloud technologies. Participants also received exposure to the broader possibilities of Azure in software development, deployment, infrastructure management, and scalable computing.
